This is an original genuine Vitra piece.
Featuring a welded steel wire seat shell, the compact LKR chair is a variation of the LSR models with a shell in fibreglass-reinforced or polypropylene plastic. Charles and Ray Eames used both wire and fibreglass versions in the furnishing of their own residence, the legendary Eames House in the Pacific Palisades neighbourhood of Los Angeles. Like all other models in the Wire Chair family by Vitra, the LSR is available without upholstery, with a seat cushion or with a two-piece seat and back cushion – also known as the 'Bikini' pad due to its shape. In the powder-coated variant without upholstery, the LSR is also suited for outdoor use.
The Wire Chair LKR is available in four new colours based on the palette designed by Charles and Ray Eames. Vitra has developed the fresh colour combinations citron, sky blue, dark green and Eames Seafoam Green.

The powder coated versions are suitable for outdoor use.
Outdoor use: unupholstered version with powder-coated base suitable for utilisation outdoors on a temporary or seasonal basis, following care instructions. After prolonged exposure to the elements, clean and store away in a dry, sheltered place to ensure lasting use and avoid any deterioration in appearance.
