Carl Hansen CH411 Peters Childs Table

Carl Hansen CH411 Peters Childs Table

Manufacturer: Carl Hansen

Designer: Hans J. Wegner 1944

H411 also known as "Peter's Table" is a design classic and a perfect present for small children.

Peter’s Table was made by Hans J. Wegner as a supplement to Peter’s Chair from 1944, which was a christening gift for his friend and fellow furniture designer Børge Mogensen’s son Peter – a unique piece of furniture design and toy in one.

He gave it to his friend and fellow furniture designer Børge Mogensen’s son as a christening gift. Crafted from untreated beech, the table’s components have no sharp edges, making them comfortable to touch. The table is very easy to assemble without any tools and functions as an inviting, three-dimensional puzzle for children and adults alike. Since going into production, Peter’s Chair and Table have remained cherished classics.
