A sterling example of people-first design, Børge Mogensen’s Asserbo Bench demonstrates the Danish designer’s approach to function and form. Perfectly proportioned, the solid, dark-oiled FSC™-certified eucalyptus seat has gently rounded edges and visible brushed brass screws. Available with a fixed or wall-mounted backrest, as well as cushions in fabric, the customisable design has a warm and welcoming expression.

Eucalyptus has a naturally expressive grain and stronger tonal contrast, so small marks or light scratches can appear more visible than they would on lighter or more uniform woods. Over time, these subtle variations will settle into the surface and form part of the table’s natural patina.
