Designed by Bodil Kjær in 1959 as part of her architecturally inspired Indoor-Outdoor Series, the BK11 lounge chair is the reclined counterpart to the BK10 dining chair — lower, more considered, and conceived for a different kind of use.

With a linear form influenced by Cubism, the chair’s solid teak construction is the result of expert craftsmanship. The inclined seat and back are genuinely comfortable, with armrests, legs and runners mortised together to form two precise squares. The teak will patinate beautifully with age and use. Pairs naturally with the BK16 side table.
